Information
Daniel Fernandez (b. 2005) is an artist whose work examines the political and environmental complexities of agricultural practices, often considering the historical conditions that have shaped the way Latin-American individuals inhabit agricultural regions. Through a generative approach, his works translate how the process of land parcelization restructures spatial relations within the natural environment. His work has been exhibited at institutions including the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Northwestern University, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. He lives and works in Chicago, Illinois, as a third-year student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
