Daniel Fernandez (born 2005) is a visual artist working in photography, video, and installation to examine labor-shaped landscapes and the histories of Mexican-American communities. He is in his third year at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Solo exhibitions include Encounter at Site Galleries. Through a research-informed approach, Fernandez creates work that engages personal experience alongside broader social and environmental histories.
